K-T Industries Flux Coated Welding Rod 1/8 In in. 5 Pc. penetrates deeply into cracks and seams to build a sound, nonporous deposit of weld metal for making leak proof joints. Often is used in water, oil and gas lines. Flux coating adheres firmly to the rod, eliminating chipping and back burn. A relatively low melting point allows for excellent tinning properties and control by the welder. Flux and rod are deposited at the weld simultaneously in exactly the right amounts. No wasteful residue of flux remains on the face of the weld.
