National V2002 Safety Hook & Eye 2-1/2 In. is designed for securing wood screen doors, lightweight doors, camping trailers, etc. It provides maximum protection against corrosion and rust. Can be used to latch gates or doors and to fasten screen or storm panels. Protected with corrosion-resistant WeatherGuard™ finish. When subjected to 312 hours of salt fog spray testing (BHMA A138.18), zinc-plated hardware showed severe corrosion while hardware with WeatherGuard™ protection withstood these harsh conditions with very little deterioration.
