Product Description
National V835 Cane Bolt is designed for use on heavy wood gates and doors. This cane bolt anchors on a gate while the gate latch acts as a stop for the other gate. The variable bolt throw and holder stores the bolt in the 'open' position and prevents its removal. Gate can be held in both the 'closed' and 'open' positions by using two sockets (1/2 in. or 3/4 in. pipe recommended but not included). Protected with corrosion-resistant WeatherGuard™ finish. When subjected to 312 hours of salt fog spray testing (BHMA A138.18), zinc-plated hardware showed severe corrosion while hardware with WeatherGuard™ protection withstood these harsh conditions with very little deterioration.
